The Eagle Wing, Sweet Grass and Drum are tools used to help others. The eagle is considered sacred, cause it’s the being that flies closest to the Creator. What comes through Eagle feathers comes from the Maker. The Sweet Grass smoke can change negative to positive. The Drum is the voice for Native People.

Larry’s Grandmother’s family (Arrow-chis) has had the gift to help others with prayer & the Eagle wing. Uncle Bishop Arrowchis blesses Sage Cesspooch (Larry’s son). Blessings are often done to assure wellness.

Spiritual Blessings
Among the many blessings given to Cesspooch by the Creator is his family’s Spiritual gift to help others with the Eagle Wing, and Sweetgrass. Larry maintains one of the sweat lodges on the Uintah & Ouray Ute Reservation. He participates in taditional Sundance's, and Bear Dances on the Ute Reservation.
 

“Vital Ground Foundation” Blessing. Cesspooch asks for a good day for the People, bears and wolves. “Bart The Bear” was the image for his foundation that purchases land for bears and wolves habitat. Bart starred as “Gentle Ben” in the “Grizzly Adams” Series and many other movies, July 2003.

ENCOUNTERED GOLDEN EAGLE GATHERING WILLOWS FOR SWEAT LODGE

"We encountered this year old Golden Eagle while gathering Red Willows for our new Sweat Lodge; it was weak with West Nile Virus."

"We gathered our red willows and returned home with the Eagle. It was dehydrated and hungry. We noticed sores in it’s mouth and throat. We took it to a friend who helps birds of pray. She gave it antibiotics, but it was too late. It passed during the night."

Larry finish the frame of their new sweat lodge. The willow frame is known as the ribs. When the buffalo skull is placed on the Earth Alter, the lodge becomes a Buffalo Earth Mother and the lodge it’s womb. "{When we enter the lodge for ceremonies, thae person we came in as dies, and a new one emerges." Larry places tobacco as an offering for the blessings received in the lodge.

SPIRITUAL BLESSING AT THE SUNDANCE INSTITUTE

The Spirit Riders came to be a part of the Sundance Festival 20002.

Larry was asked by keeper Doug Seuss to see if I could help “Bart the bear” who had cancer on his right front leg. Bart once played Grizzly Adams bear on TV. As Larry was blessing Bart with the eagle wing, Bart would put his huge head against the cage bars as if he knew he was being blessed. When Larry raised the wing to bless Bart’s cancer side, Bart’s long tongue reached out and touched the tip of the wing. Larry began to cry as he saw the pain in Bart’s eyes as he blessed the open cancer wound. Bart continued to live six extra months.
